1990 MVP Players were Rickey Henderson, Oakland Athletics for the American League; and Barry Bonds, Pittsburgh Pirates for the National League. The Cy Young Award went to Bob Welch, Oakland Athletics for the American League; and Doug Drabek, Pittsburgh Pirates, for the National League. More interesting facts about the 1990 & 1991 baseball season include the National League’s announcement of it’s expansion of 2 teams for the 1993 season. The two teams that were added included teams Miami Florida and Denver Colorado.
